Ballett Kiel under the artistic direction of Yaroslav Ivanenko and Heather Jurgensen is looking for one professional male dancer and one professional female dancer starting at the beginning of the season 2023/2024.
Since taking over the dance company at Theater Kiel in 2011, Yaroslav Ivanenko, together with his partner Heather Jurgensen as co-director and ballet mistress, has focused on building up a versatile, innovative and appealing company that is well versed in classical, neoclassical and contemporary style.
Ballett Kiel is a company of 11 women and 10 men.
Ivanenko's own choreographic language is fluid and athletic, with emphasis on challenging technique and partnering work. Often playfully humorous, his work encompasses refreshing interpretations of ballets from the classical canon as well as original contemporary works.
For the season 2023/2024, we are looking for one male dancer and one female dancer with strong classical technique as well as contemporary technique and improvisation skills.
Minimum height of 180 cm for the male dancers.
The Contract is according to "NV Bühne Solo mit Gruppe". Professional experience preferred.
Please prepare one classical and one contemporary variation.
