The Ballet company of Opera Plovdiv is searching for ballet dancers (corps de ballet, soloists) as well as a ballet master/rehearsal director with an option of a contract with the company of 1-2 years.
Dancers must have a very good classical and contemporary technique.
Applications to be sent to castballetop@gmail.com containing:
- CV with height in cm & weight: women 155-170 cm, men at least 175 cm.
- YouTube video links of classical and contemporary variations, no ballet class.
Auditions will be held in Plovdiv on March 5, April 4 and May 20, 2023 at 10.30 am.
Auditions will consist of a ballet class, classical variation and contemporary solo.
Candidates will be welcomed at 9.30am at #15 “Gladston” str., House of Culture Boris Hristov, Plovdiv.
State Ballet Plovdiv is an international company with a repertoire of neoclassical and contemporary dance performances, operas, musicals, children's performances and tours with classical titles.

State Opera Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is looking for ballet dancers – male/female (EU citizenship is an advantage) corps de ballet, soloists and principal for classical and modern ballet, musical, operatic ballet productions and tours for 2022-2023.
Dancers must have a strong classical and contemporary technique.
A standard salary over 12 months is offered with an option for bonuses and permanent engagement.
