International Competition for Position in Ballet Company
The Teatro alla Scala Foundation is holding an international competition for the following position in the Ballet Company of the Theatre for 2022/23 season:
- CORPS DE MALE DANCERS with obligation of mimo- 1 position
- CORPS DE FEMALE DANCERS with obligation of mimo- 4 position
- SOLOIST FEMALE DANCERS with obligation of principal, Corps de Ballet and mimo- 1 position
- PRINCIPAL FEMALE DANCER with obligation of etoile, solo and mimo-1 position
To participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit an online application on the Theater website at the following link: https://www.teatroallascala.org/en/work-with-us/ballet.html by 18 June 2022.
The application must be accompanied by a video with a maximum duration of two minutes containing a variation chosen and performed by the candidate.
At the end of the procedure for completing the application, an email will be sent confirming the correct registration for the competition.
In compliance with the current regulations relating to the containment measures of the epidemiological emergency Covid-19, the face-to-face examination tests may be preceded by a preselection based on the evaluation of the video clips attached to the application form.
The pre-selected candidates will be called by email.
Competitors not admitted or admitted with reserve, will always be informed by e-mail.
The audition can be held in several phases and on different days and schedule will be published on the Teatro alla Scala website.
